My Thoughts

I was so excited to do this review! I literally couldn't wait for this book to come in the mail. I chose the book "When I Grow Up" as a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son. I know, he's probably getting to old for this kind of stuff, but I really wanted to get him something personal that he could hold onto as a keepsake as he gets older. When it did finally come in the mail, which didn't take that long, I couldn't wait to open it. I was really impressed right off the bat, it was so cute! It seemed very well made and the colors of the illustrations were very bright and vibrant. My favorite part was the personal message I included, for my son, at the front of the book. As he gets older, I hope that will mean a lot to him. I also loved that I could personalize it with my son and family members' names (you can also do his friends' names if you choose to). The little extra details like my son's age or his hometown, etc. was wonderful! The story itself had a wonderful message to it too. I have a friend who is pregnant and this would make an excellent gift! Overall, I loved it! I would recommend this item for anyone, definitely a must gift for any child. This is a great gift that will be special and very unique. I will definitely have to get one for my younger son too.
